Forecasting Love and Weather is a romantic K-drama that draws parallels between the unpredictable nature of romance and weather. The drama centers around the National Weather Service office and shows the connection between a hard-working forecaster and her free-spirited coworker.
The show stars talented actors like Park Min Young, Song Kang, Girl’s Day‘s Yura, and Yoon Park, who all gathered for an interview with Netflix. This particular interview, which focused on three of the actors being able to talk honestly about their other costar, who was wearing headphones, revealed a lot of fun facts about each of the actor’s true personalities.
Since the actor who the questions were about couldn’t hear the answers with the headphones on, they had the option of removing the headphones to overhear their costars’ responses if they drank a bitter tea.
After Song Kang, Yura, and Yoon Park took turns answering questions about Park Min Young, revealing that her true personality was nothing like what they expected, it was Song Kang’s turn to sit with the headphones on while his costars once more revealed that his personality was also quite the opposite of their initial impressions.
Park Min Young and Yoon Park both immediately agreed that their initial impression of Song Kang was that “he looked exhausted.”
Park Min Young even compared him to the popular Spirited Away character No-Face because of the dark aura that seemed to surround him.
Because of how tired Song Kang seemed, his costars were worried since his character in Forecasting Love and Weather, Lee Si Woo, has an energetic, free-willed personality.
But they quickly learned that Song Kang actually has a remarkably similar personality to Lee Si Woo; Park Min Young even says that Song Kang is “90% similar” to Lee Si Woo while Yura believes 80% similar is more accurate.
Not only does Song Kang laugh easily…
But “when he likes something he goes down the rabbit hole and talks about it a lot.”
Although Yura does believe that, unlike Lee Si Woo, Song Kang does not always speak his mind.
And when asked specifically to talk about any unexpected sides of Song Kang, both Park Yoon and Yura admit their surprise about how much the actor enjoys working out.
While Park Min Young focuses on his dedication to acting, discussing how he always does his best for memorizing scripts.
Even if his handwriting is so bad that she can’t understand it.
