On March 25, NJZ’s (NewJeans) fandom, Team Bunnies, posted a statement on social media.
They revealed that they have been in contact with the members’ parents and Sejong Law Firm since the injunction results were revealed.

Hello, this is Team Bunnies.
Since the injunction results were revealed on March 21, Team Bunnies has contacted the members’ parents and Sejong Law Firm. Over the course of a few days, we have met with four large law firms, including Sejong, three former lawyers, a lawyer with 17 years experience who started out as a prosecutor, and a lawyer who started out as a judge and have discussed together for a long time.
To review the current matter with an objective perspective independent of the fandom, we have requested advice from as many lawyers and law firms as possible.
We are aware that many Bunnies are currently confused about the situation. However, as mentioned above, we are talking deeply with many legal professionals and are preparing a statement regarding the main legal issues. It is a difficult situation, but we have had many discussions and are preparing for future plans. Thank you.

However, netizens were confused as to why the fandom was meeting the parents.

- “The more I look at it, the more it looks like they aren’t just normal fans…”
- “Why is a fandom meeting with the parents and lawyers?”
- “Why are fans doing such things? It’s dangerous for fans to meet lawyers, but they’re even meeting the parents?”
- “Guess they are trying to start media play again.”
- “Why are fans meeting parents and lawyers? What is their identity?”
- “No matter how I look at it, they don’t seem to be fans. Even if they are fans, how can they easily meet and work with all those law firms? Isn’t this just boasting? It’s like they’re saying to trust them because we’re this great, so don’t mess with us. And to say that they are just a fan association?”
