Most recently, NJZ (NewJeans) announced a temporary hiatus after the court ruled in favor of ADOR.
During their performance at ComplexCon in Hong Kong, they stated during their ending speech that they would take some time off “in respect of the court’s verdict” and that it was not an “easy decision.”

With this, ADOR released a statement in response to the hiatus announcement.
We find it unfortunate that the group continues to perform under a name other than NewJeans and has unilaterally declared a halt to activities despite the court’s ruling. ADOR will do its best for the group according to the valid exclusive contract. We hope to meet with the artists soon to discuss future plans.

Earlier, the court ruled in favor of ADOR in their lawsuit against NJZ regarding the status of their independent activities.
