An SBS representative told Sports Chosun, “Choi Yeo Jin will be appearing on the March 31 episode of ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams’ alongside her fiancé to talk about their relationship and the process of preparing for their upcoming wedding.”
That said, the identity of her husband-to-be is now fueling some wild speculations.
Back in August 2024, Choi Yeo Jin appeared on SBS’s Dolsing Fourmen and revealed that she was dating a man seven years older than her. At the time, she described her boyfriend as “someone in the sports business, mainly focused on seasonal sports.”

Recognizing the fiancé from Choi Yeo Jin’s 2020 appearance on On And Off, netizens have now connected all the dots: In the July 2020 episode of the tvN show, Choi Yeo Jin documented her life in Gapyeong—a tourist town well known for water sports.
Her now-fiancé appeared in this episode as Choi Yeo Jin’s water skiing coach, married at the time. It was revealed in the episode that Choi Yeo Jin was staying with the coach and his wife at their place in Gapyeong, five days a week.
Following the news of Choi Yeo Jin’s wedding plan, a clip of the actress, her coach-turned-fiancé, and his now-ex-wife from the 2020 tvN show began circulating online.
