Recently, the survival program ChuangAsia 2 began to air.
The sequel to ChuangAsia Thailand, which debuted the girl group GEN1ES, ChuangAsia 2 features male trainees attempting to make the debut group. The show features an all-star cast of mentors, including SEVENTEEN’s THE8 and GOT7’s BamBam.
The cast of trainees already has some familiar faces, including one hopeful who appeared on His Man, a gay dating reality show.
Openly Gay Trainee To Compete In Upcoming Survival Show
Another trainee who has already stood out is also familiar to some watchers due to his previous experience on reality shows.
In 2021, trainee Hu Yetao appeared in Produce Camp 2021, where he ranked 23 and made it to the final episode.
The popular trainee’s visuals attracted attention throughout the show, showing an impressive ability to switch between masculine and feminine looks. Hu Yetao addressed the discussions about his gender identity connected to how he presented himself during a live stream, explaining that he was a boy who did not limit himself in his expression.

Hu Yetao’s visuals do rival those of a member of a girl group and he has expressed more of himself on his social media accounts.
During the February 9 episode, Hu Yetao performed for the judges, impressing them with his performance. His stage left a deep impact on BamBam, who stated that for the first time he felt like a man was attractive, and even used pick-up lines on him.
