The Las Vegas Raiders did not add a quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft with any of their eight picks, but they did add one in undrafted free agency with the signing of South Alabama signal-caller, Carter Bradley.
According to Aaron Wilson of Click2Houston.com, Bradley has signed a fairly significant UDFA contract that has $ 125,000 guaranteed and includes a $ 25,000 signing bonus.
Bradley spent his first four years at Toledo but really got his big opportunity at South Alabama, where he completed 66% of his passes for 5,995 yards and 47 touchdowns to 19 interceptions over 24 games. His best season came in 2022, when he finished with career-highs in passing yards (3,335) and touchdowns (28).
Check out Bradley slinging it in his college highlights below.
As is the case with all UDFAs, Bradley faces an uphill climb in making the roster.Las Vegas is already set atop the depth chart with Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell, although it remains to be seen who will start.
If Las Vegas does carry a third quarterback, Bradley will be competing with Anthony Brown for that spot. If the South Alabama product doesn’t end up making the roster for whatever reason, he could very well stick on the practice squad.
We should get our first look at Bradley when the Raiders open rookie minicamp next weekend.
