A former Las Vegas Raiders undrafted free-agent signing has gotten himself into legal trouble after reportedly being arrested on multiple charges, including two felonies.
According to Chris Murray of Nevada Sportsnet, ex-Raiders UDFA and offensive lineman Tyler Roemer was arrested on Monday for alleged DUI, first offense, and two battery charges, both of which are felonies.
He was also charged with resisting a public officer and destroying property of another ($ 250-5,000). Records show he was booked at 6:06 p.m. on Monday, per Murray’s report.
After going undrafted out of San Diego State, Roemer was inked to a UDFA deal by the Raiders in 2019. He failed to make the roster out of training camp and his most memorable moment in the Silver & Black came when he was involved in a fight during joint practices with the Los Angeles Rams.
Prior to the 2019 NFL Draft, he was accused of emotional and physical abuse by an ex-girlfriend during his days at San Diego State. Roemer saw his college career end early after he was suspended in 2018 for an unspecified violation of team rules.
Before attending San Diego State, Roemer played high school ball at Fernley High School in Nevada.
