After alternating blowouts in Games 4 and 5, the Eastern Conference Semifinals series between the Knicks and Pacers returns to Indianapolis, where the Pacers have yet to lose during these playoffs.
New York, which earned a 30-point win in Game 5, has a 3-2 series lead and is one win away from reaching the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2000. Indiana, the East’s No. 6 seed, will look to continue its impressive postseason run by forcing a Game 7.
Things got chippy during Game 5 and that could carry over into Game 6, as the Pacers will look to validate their toughness, which was called into question by Knicks guard Donte DiVincenzo. Chippiness aside, all eyes will be on the All-Star guards as New York’s Jalen Brunson turned in his fifth 40-point performance of the playoffs while Tyrese Haliburton scored just 13 points on nine shots in Game 5.
Expect a highly contested Game 6. The latest NBA odds for Knicks-Pacers Game 6 from BetMGM have Indiana favored by 5.5 points. Current odds to win the series favor the Knicks (-250).
