Kawhi Leonard left the Clippers’ game against the Timberwolves in the first quarter Tuesday — and then exited the arena — without any explanation.
Leonard, 32, appeared on the Clippers’ injury report with “left groin soreness” ahead of the contest against Minnesota, but he didn’t appear to tweak anything in his first stint of the game.
The All-Star forward has been relatively healthy this season, appearing in 58 of LA’s 64 games to this point. He could even be considered an outside candidate for MVP, averaging 24.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game.
Leonard’s health is extremely important if the Clippers are going to make a long-awaited NBA Finals run.
