Actor Lee Do Hyun has sent a sweet update for fans from the military.
On March 1, KST, Lee Do Hyun posted a picture of him in his uniform, thanking fans in the caption for showing their love for his latest movie, Exhuma.
Hello, this is actor Lee Do Hyun!
I apologize for greeting you through writing like this since I can’t greet you in person because I’m currently serving in the military.— Lee Do Hyun
Exhuma, the Lee Do Hyun and Kim Go Eun starrer, has seen meteoric success at the box office in South Korea. The movie was released on February 22, KST, and by February 28, it already recorded over 3 million viewers.
Though the cast picture that Lee Do Hyun was holding in his latest Instagram post was clicked during the celebrations of the 3 million milestone, by the time he got around to posting it, the movie had already crossed the 4 million mark! The actor expressed his sincere gratitude to all his viewers and promised to greet them in person after his discharge from the military.
But after reading articles about the number of viewers, I wanted to celebrate with everyone. And now I see that we’ve reached 4 million… Even though I’m not sure how many more viewers the movie will get, I sincerely thank all my fans and audiences for the support. Now, as soldier Lim Dong Hyun, and next year, as actor Lee Do Hyun, I look forward to having matured more. And I’ll be sure to express my gratitude in person when I can. Thank you once again for loving our movie ‘Exhuma.’ It seems like the spring cold has started. Everyone, be careful not to catch a cold and I hope your everyday is filled with happiness.
— Lee Do Hyun
