(G)I-DLE recently released their pre-release single, “Wife,” on January 22 and are currently preparing to release their second full-length album 2 on January 29.
Since the group began teasing their concept for their upcoming album, they’ve left netizens impressed with the production quality and by consistently trying new things as a self-producing idol group.

As the group prepares for the release of 2, the members filmed an episode of the popular variety program Knowing Bros, and a fact that they revealed about their album production has left netizens shocked.
In a recently released teaser for the episode, leader Soyeon revealed that she again produced the group’s upcoming release. Soyeon then revealed that ₩1.10 billion KRW (about $ 823,000 USD) was spent on their comeback album.
The production quality of their upcoming comeback is clear with their impressive and captivating teaser images and trailers alone.
