BTS‘s Suga has made netizens emotional after seeing an update in the most unexpected place.
After Suga enlisted in the military, there has hardly been any updates from the idol aside from when he went to send off RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook off at the end of 2023.
On May 16, an alleged update from the idol gained attention in the most unexpected place: FanCafe.
Before the creation of Weverse, BTS used Daum‘s FanCafe to interact with fans. In January, netizens noticed that the icons of the members depended on “activity.”
On May 16, netizens noticed when going on the website that Suga’s icon had changed to a penguin, meaning he had been active recently.
When the Korean OP shared the photo after their first tweet, the caption was, “What the! Did Yoongi visit the fan café??????” and it definitely hit with many ARMYs. Since the creation of Weverse, FanCafe has seemed like a distant memory, and with all the members in the military, it almost seemed like a distant thought.
After netizens realized what happened, they couldn’t hide their excitement. While some pointed out that they noticed something similar, others were just emotional at the idea of Suga going online to look at some of the old posts.
