NewJeans‘ parents exposed HYBE‘s Bang Si Hyuk.
On May 13, Ilgan Sports released a bombshell exposé revealing the alleged mistreatment of the K-Pop stars by HYBE’s Bang Si Hyuk.
In their report, Ilgan Sports included an email from the parents of NewJeans that was originally sent to Min Hee Jin, which Min Hee Jin then forwarded to BELIFT LAB.
In the email, the members’ parents criticized HYBE and BELIFT LAB for intentionally plagiarizing NewJeans.
We find that it’s unfortunate that the recent girl group that debuted under a HYBE label has caused controversy over plagiarizing NewJeans. We feel that the similarities were intentionally made by HYBE and BELIFT LAB.

The members’ parents also criticized the marketing strategy employed by HYBE, and asked Min Hee Jin if she had permitted ILLIT to use NewJeans’ choreography.
Not only this, I think it’s a greater issue that they are marketing the new group (ILLIT) by making comparisons to NewJeans. Did ADOR give permission for the group to copy their choreography? These acts will hurt NewJeans’ value and reputation.

Most shocking, however, were the claims against HYBE’s CEO, Bang Si Hyuk, and his mistreatment of the group. You can read more about it in the link below.
