When is Brighton vs Man City? Date, time of Premier League game
Manchester City’s away game at Sheffield United due to take place at 4:30 p.m. local time (11:30 a.m. ET) on Sunday, March 17, 2024. However, the match was postponed when Man United reached the quarterfinals of the FA Cup.
City’s continued involvement in the Champions League, namely their quarterfinal meetings with Real Madrid on April 9 and April 17, means midweek slots next month are at a premium. However, the Brighton game could potential be moved to the w/c April 22.
Another factor to consider is that City will have another fixture to move elsewhere if they beat Newcastle. Reaching the FA Cup semifinals would mean a new date being required for their April 20 trip to Tottenham.
Which Premier League games have been postponed due to FA Cup quarterfinals?
Several Premier League matches were moved because of the FA Cup quarterfinals.
Arsenal’s huge London derby with Chelsea was postponed from its original March 16 date. The Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool, initially slated for March 17, has also been moved, as has Manchester City’s away game at Brighton & Hove Albion.
In total, six Premier League games on matchday 29 have been postponed because of FA Cup commitments.
