This year’s Pac-12 tournament will be a bittersweet one. All but two schools – Washington State and Oregon State – are leaving for other conferences after the school year, meaning this will be the last iteration of the Pac-12’s current form.
Arizona, which will join the Big 12 this fall, prepares to defend its Pac-12 title and become the first school to win three consecutive championships since the Wildcats did it from 1988-1990.
Washington State is Arizona’s closest competition after the Cougars were the only Pac-12 team to beat the Wildcats twice this season. However, Washington State won by just three points in both contests.
Offensively, Arizona is far and away the best team in the conference. The Wildcats average around 90 points per game. Colorado and Washington, meanwhile, score around 80 points per game. UCLA and Washington State are the best defensive teams that allow fewer than 70 points per game, respectively.
There are several important players and NBA draft prospects to watch out for in this tournament, too. USC’s Bronny James is the biggest name because of his familial pedigree – he’s the son of the Lakers star LeBron James.
Other players to pay attention to are UCLA’s Aday Mara, Adem Bona and Berke Buyuktuncel; USC’s Isaiah Collier and Kobe Johnson; Colorado’s Tristan da Silva; Oregon’s Kwame Evans Jr. and Jackson Shelstad; and Arizona’s Caleb Love.
Here is everything you need to know about the Pac-12 basketball tournament, including TV and streaming options for each game.
