Season 2024 of the Formula One World Championship gets is finally here, as the 20 drivers prepare for the first race of the campaign at Bahrain’s International Circuit.
After the successful return of the Las Vegas Grand Prix in 2023 — the first held in Sin City since 1982 — the US mainland prepares to host another three races this season, with Miami up first in May before Austin hosts the United States Grand Prix at the end of October.
Furthermore, Fort Lauderdale-born driver Logan Sargeant begins his second season behind the wheel of Williams’ Mercedes-powered engine and will be hoping to add to the solitary top-10 finish he achieved in his debut year.

What TV channel is F1 on in US?
If you’re an F1 fan based in the US, you’ve got a wide range of options to make sure you catch all the action on and off the circuit in 2024.
ESPN’s network of sports channels is the best place for you to watch F1 this year, showing every race, qualifying and practice session in partnership with Sky Sports.
ABC will also be showing a select number of races on their free-to-air channels, most likely those on US and North American soil as well as other high-profile circuits.
Spanish-speaking fans of F1 can watch live broadcasts via ESPN Deportes, who will be showing each and every race as well as most practice and qualifying sessions live throughout the year.

F1 2024 season schedule
There’s a record-breaking 24 races on the F1 calendar this year, which will see the season run for over nine months from March to early December.
The first race of the campaign takes place on Saturday, March 2 with the Bahrain Grand Prix, and will conclude on Sunday, December 8 at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit.

F1 2023 driver lineup
The 2024 F1 season has 20 drivers competing in every race, two for each of the 10 teams. There have been no roster changes from the back end of last year’s championship, but two entries will be competing under new names.
With Alfa Romeo and Sauber’s partnership ending at the end of 2023, Sauber will keep their Ferrari engines while rebranding to the Stake F1 Team, while AlphaTauri have also rebranded to become Visa Cash App RB.
Behind the wheel, Daniel Ricciardo is confirmed as Visa Cash App RB’s driver for 2024, after replacing Nyck de Vries halfway through last season. He’ll be looking to add to his eight career wins in the new season’s only confirmed change of personnel.
