Al Nassr’s nine-game unbeaten run will be put to the test when they face Al Shabab in Saudi Pro League action on February 25.
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in all three of his side’s wins in 2024, helping to sustain their league title challenge while also progressing to the quarterfinals of the AFC Champions League.
Al Shabab had been pushing for the top three in the league not long ago, but their form has tailed off badly in recent weeks. They have only won four of their past 11 games in all competitions — a run that includes a 5-2 home defeat to Al Nassr in the King Cup of Champions quarterfinal back in December.
They did at least make a winning return to competitive football for the year in their last game, beating Damak 1-0 away thanks to a debut goal from former Barcelona and Croatia star Ivan Rakitic.
