Before WWE heads to Philadelphia for WrestleMania, it heads to Tampa for the Royal Rumble. The event airs on Peacock in the U.S. on January 27.
There will be a men’s and women’s Royal Rumble match. The rules of the match are straightforward: 30 wrestlers are assigned a spot in the contest at random. The first two participants kick things off, and after 90-second or two-minute intervals, another wrestler comes out. That process continues until all the competitors have entered the match. To be eliminated, a wrestler must get tossed over the top rope, and both feet must touch the floor.
The last person standing will be declared the winner and earn a shot at a title of their choice at WrestleMania.
Will Cody Rhodes become the first back-to-back winner since “Stone Cold” Steve Austin? What about the returning CM Punk? Will The Rock make an appearance? On the women’s side, Becky Lynch looks to repeat, while Bayley is ready to take over for Damage CTRL bragging rights.

Also set to appear will be Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and WWE United States Champion Logan Paul, defending their titles in separate contests.
