TV star Kim Jong Kook is making headlines for getting down on his knees on national television in apology.
In the recent episode of SBS‘s Whenever Possible, Kim Jong Kook participated in a quiz game where everyone had to guess the identity of a singer when their faces are flashed in front of them during their respective turns. When it was Kim Jong Kook’s turn, he was shown a photo of BLACKPINK member Jisoo.
Though Kim Jong Kook is a veteran entertainment program star, he got unexpectedly flustered in the moment and failed to recognize the BLACKPINK member on time. Instead, he blurted out, “Who is this?” His team members, perplexed by the question, yelled out that it was Jisoo.
As soon as he realized what had happened, he climbed on top of the table and knelt down, saying, “Please spare me, just this once.” The room broke into a chuckle seeing his extravagant apology.
