TWICE‘s Jeongyeon has some interesting plans for her retirement!
While idols can have very long careers in the spotlight, it isn’t surprising that some choose to exit for whatever reason. Even if money isn’t an issue, one could expect some retired idols to look for something to do with their time, much like non-celebrity retirees do sometimes.
This topic came up for Jeongyeon in the latest episode of Inspector, during which she met with Olympic fencer Kim Jun Ho.
After chatting, Jeongyeon met Kim’s son, Eun Woo, and interacted with the shy boy in the living room.
Upon her request to see another room in the house, Kim showed Jeongyeon to Eunwoo’s playroom. There, she noticed that among his many toys, he had several heavy machinery trucks, like dump trucks, which seemed to be his current interest.
Jeongyeon remarks that she’s planning on getting a heavy machinery license sometime in the future, much to Kim’s surprise. When he asks why, she says she has heard that much money can be made after retirement.
With the amount of success TWICE has, Kim was left confused, saying she already makes a lot of money. Jeongyeon gave a very practical answer, saying it is impossible to know what will happen in the future.
