24-year-old New York Saints wide receiver Chris Olave was excluded from a recent CBS Sports All-Under-25 team. First-team wide receivers were Bengals’ Ja’Marr Chase and Jets’ Garrett Wilson.
Olave has been the hallmark of his consistency in two NFL seasons. With over 1,000 yards receiving each season and an average of 13.6 yards per reception, he has withstood all of the turbulence the Saints have played with in his two seasons.
Olave missing the list may not be a surprise because the Saints do not garner nationwide attention like the glitzy Bengals and Jets. Some believe he could have better numbers this season.
Derek Carr is the Saints starting quarterback, but Spencer Rattler has been getting plenty of attention this preseason. No matter who the QB1 turns out to be, expect Olave to have another solid season as the Saints open the 2024 season with a home game against the Carolina Panthers on September 8 at 1 PM ET.
