The first two finals in the PFL Playoffs are set, after an exciting night of fights in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday night at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
The PFL Playoffs got underway with semifinals in the heavyweight and women’s flyweight divisions, and the final two bouts of the night did not disappoint.
The main and co-main event ended with impressive first-round stoppages as the fighters punched their tickets to the $ 1 million championships.
In the main event, top-seeded heavyweight Denis Goltsov took care of Tim Johnson after some vicious ground-and-pound.
With the win, Goltsov advances to his second straight PFL Heavyweight Championship. He will face Oleg Popov in the final.
Rising women’s flyweight star Dakota Ditcheva, meanwhile, put on an incredible show, dropping Jena Bishop with a flawless knee and finishing her on the ground.
Ditcheva advances to face No. 1 seed Taila Santos, who earned a decision win over Liz Carmouche earlier in the night, in the championship.
