Napoli won their first Italian top-flight title in 33 years in the 2022/23 season, but they capitulated to a 10th-placed finish last term, finishing a whopping 41 points behind champions Inter Milan and 15 points adrift of the Champions League spots.
Antonio Conte is tasked with returning Gli Azzurri to European football and competing for major trophies again, and the famous Italian manager has recently been linked with a number of his former Spurs players.
According to Calciomercato, Napoli have set their sights on Swedish winger Dejan Kulusevski and will try to lure him back to Italy this summer.
Kulusevski is quite familiar with Serie A, having spent nearly four years featuring for clubs such as Atalanta, Parma, and Juventus.
Spurs signed Kulusevski initially on loan for Conte from Juventus before making his stay permanent for around £25 million ($ 32.3m).

During his stint in north London under Conte, Kulusevski delivered an impressive seven goals and 15 assists in 47 appearances.
However, his form has dipped recently, contributing just three goals since the start of the year. Notably, two of these goals came on the final day against a relegated Sheffield United.
Considering this, it could be wise for the club to entertain any substantial offers for the versatile Swedish attacker, especially after landing Archie Gray from Leeds United in a £30 million ($ 37.5m) deal.
