After playing two games at the California Classic, Bronny James enters the second portion of his Summer League campaign.
The NBA 2K25 Summer League in Las Vegas is considered the more popular of the two, so James will have a larger pool of talent to compete against. With that, there will be even more eyeballs on the 19-year-old’s performances.
His first two games in the Lakers’ threads have been underwhelming and have garnered some negative attention on social media. James is averaging 3.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists on 25.0 percent shooting from the field.
James has shown some flashes on the defensive end, which is an area that some believe he can impact immediately. He had two steals and three blocks in the Lakers’ 80-76 loss to the Heat on Wednesday, July 10.
James makes his NBA 2K25 Summer League debut against the Rockets. Sporting News is tracking live stats, highlights and updates regarding the rookie’s game.
