Shohei Ohtani is still hitting baseballs over the fence. His two-run blast Saturday night against the Angels was his second in as many games against his former club, and his sixth in his last seven games. Ohtani also hit a two-run homer in Friday night’s 3-2 loss to the Halos. Saturday’s two-run shot expanded the lead from 1-0 to 3-0. Gavin Lux homered to lead off the bottom of the third.
Ohtani is up to 23 home runs this season, expanding his National League lead over Braves’ designated hitter Marcell Ozuna, who has 21.
