The two biggest NCAA basketball stars are set to meet for the first time in the WNBA, as Caitlin Clark and the Fever host Angel Reese and the Sky at 12 p.m. ET Sunday.
The collegiate rivals are already living up to sky-high expectations at the pro level. Clark became the first of their rookie class to record a 30-point game, while Reese posted a double-double in her fifth game.
Their first WNBA clash also will feature another prominent rookie in Kamilla Cardoso, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2024 draft. Clark went No. 1 overall to Indiana, while Reese joined Cardoso in Chicago at No. 7 overall.
Cardoso was sidelined for the first few weeks of the season with a shoulder injury. But the former South Carolina star, who beat Clark in the 2024 NCAA title game, is expected to make her WNBA debut against the Fever.
Friends, rivals, college basketball legends — Clark and Reese (and Cardoso) will provide an unforgettable matchup for WNBA fans everywhere.
