It’s been a wild ride for the Steelers during the offseason.
No more Kenny Pickett, no more Mitch Trubisky. Welcome Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. Pittsburgh had its fun rearranging its quarterback room after falling in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs. At least its back into the postseason after missing out in 2022. Still, it’s the Steelers’ fourth straight playoff loss. Can Wilson be the one to turn it around?
Hopefully. Pittsburgh bolstered up its offensive line during the draft, grabbing OT Troy Fautanu and linemen Zach Frazier and Mason McCormick.
After Mike Tomlin turned the 2023 Steelers around to secure yet another winning season, there were rumors he wouldn’t return to Pittsburgh. He squashed those soon after the Steelers’ loss to the Bills in the playoffs.

The Steelers have a third-place schedule, which means the Jets and Colts are on the schedule. Pittsburgh also will face the AFC East and NFC East, which creates the opportunity for more prime-time games at Acrisure Stadium given the home schedule features the Chiefs and Cowboys.
This season, Pittsburgh has an extra road game. That matchup is at Atlanta. The schedule features seven total games against teams that made the playoffs last year. Outside the AFC North, those teams are Dallas, Philadelphia, and Kansas City.
