JYP Entertainment announced that actor and singer Lee Junho will no longer be with the company. Through an official statement on March 20, 2025, it was reported that he will not be renewing his contract.

We would like to inform you that the exclusive contract between JYP Entertainment and artist Lee Junho will conclude as of April 15th.
After long and thorough discussions, both our company and the artist have mutually agreed not to proceed with a renewal of the contract.
Since his debut in 2008 as a member of the group 2PM, Lee Junho has dedicated himself wholeheartedly to both his singing and acting careers, consistently delivering outstanding performances.
Based on deep mutual trust, we have signed multiple contract renewals with the artist and shared many shining seasons together. We sincerely thank Lee Junho for accompanying the growth and journey of our company over the past 17 years.
Above all, we are deeply grateful to the fans who have responded to Lee Junho’s efforts with immense love and support.
Lee Junho also expressed his gratitude, saying that he is “truly thankful for the unwavering support over the past 17 years,” and that he “will cherish the bonds and encouragement built over this long time and continue moving forward.”
While our official contract is coming to an end, JYP Entertainment will always support Lee Junho’s new challenges and brilliant endeavors.
Additionally, we would like to mention that our company will continue to oversee Lee Junho’s activities in Japan and will actively support any necessary collaborative efforts in the future.
