aespa‘s Karina starred in G-DRAGON‘s music video for “TOO BAD” recently.
During a behind-the-scenes video released on March 19, 2025, he personally revealed the reason he cast Karina for the role. G-DRAGON was seen discussing the production of the music video with the performance director and production staff. He took a leading role in the shoot by personally planning the concept, managing the overall production on set, and actively sharing various ideas.
During a meeting for the music video shoot, the production team mentioned the need for a scene with a female lead. They wanted to depict the smooth relationship blossoming between the female and male leads. As the team worried about choosing the right person, G-DRAGON admitted that there definitely needed to be a female lead for his music video. That was when he thought of Karina to play his love interest.
