At a court hearing, a judge declared an actor–who did not attend the hearing–bankrupt.

Vinci Wong is a Canadian actor of Hong Kong origin, who returned to Hong Kong to pursue a career in television. Since the late 1990s, he has appeared in several series, the most recent one being Sinster Beings 2 (2024).

On March 3, the Hong Kong High Court declared Vinci Wong bankrupt. This came after a credit firm alleged that Wong had failed to pay back an unsecured loan of $ 2.8 million HKD (approximately $ 360,487 USD). The firm sued Wong, who subsequently filed for bankruptcy, last December.

In addition to acting, Wong is also a businessman, who holds a 28% stake in WKK Distribution Limited, a company founded by his grandfather, Wong Sha Shan. His family’s total wealth is reportedly about $ 3 billion HKD (approximately $ 386,092,336 USD).
