The Buffalo Bills are 3-2 after dropping their second straight game, this one coming in heartbreak fashion on a last-second field goal to the Houston Texans.
The Bills made several questionable decisions down the stretch in a game they had no business being in. After holding the Texans to a punt and getting the ball at their own three yard-line with 30 seconds left, the Bills had the chance to run the ball and force Houston to either use all of their timeouts or just let the game go to overtime. Instead, the Bills went with three straight pass plays, killed almost no time, punted back to the Texans and watched them kick a game-winning field goal.
This is just the latest example of Sean McDermott making bad in-game decisions that end up costing the Bills a win. Sirius XM radio host Adam Schein feels the same way, and says that McDermott is standing in the way of Buffalo winning a Super Bowl.
“Bills fans know it,” Schein said. “Sometimes you just have to say ‘if you want to win a championship, this is not the guy.'”
Schein continued with a post on X.
“I want the Buffalo Bills to win a title badly for the amazing Bills fans,” Schein writes. “Yesterday was a gross reminder of the biggest obstacle. Beyond comprehension. Because this isn’t the first time. It’s 13 seconds, Denver, Philly, Tennessee, KC last year etc all rolled into one.”
Do the Bills have a Sean McDermott problem? At this point, it’s hard to argue.
