The Atlanta Falcons officially announce their inactive list ahead of their Monday Night Football matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. It looks very similar to last week’s list, with one key difference: Two rookies from the 2024 NFL draft may see the field: Sixth-round wide receiver Casey Washington and fifth-round linebacker J.D. Bertrand.
Falcons Inactives vs. Philadelphia Eagles
After last week’s focus on stopping the run, the Falcons run it back by keeping versatile defensive lineman Dorlus and rookie interior lineman Orhororo in street clothes. Seventh-rounder Jase McClellan rounds out the list of rookies that won’t see the field as Washington and fifth-round rookie J.D. Bertrand get the calls.
Bertrand’s is out of necessity after upstart Nate Landman was ruled out of this game earlier this afternoon. Washington seems to be more of a strategic play as the Eagles may look to spread this aggressive Eagles defense out.
