Regarded as one of the hottest talent in Europe during his stint at Ajax, Antony scored 24 goals and chipped in with 22 assists in 82 games, which paved the way for his transfer to Old Trafford in the summer of 2022.
Nonetheless, the Brazilian has struggled to justify his hefty £85.5 million ($ 110m) price tag, managing just 11 goals and five assists across 82 matches.
In the last season, the 24-year-old made only 15 starts from his 29 Premier League appearances, recording a mere two goal involvements.
Despite having at least three years remaining on his contract, Antony has recently been rumored to be considering a loan move away from Old Trafford. It has also been reported that the Red Devils are open to sending the Brazil international out on loan this summer—that is, provided his salary is covered.

Antony agent discusses Man United future
However, Junior Pedroso, the agent representing the United winger, has dismissed the rumors, asserting that his client intends to remain with the club beyond the transfer window despite the speculation surrounding his future.
He told Fabrizio Romano: “I see reports about potential exit on loan. Antony’s plan is clear: Manchester United.
“He wants to stay, he’s only focused on Man United. We already spoke about that with the club.”
Man United boss Erik ten Hag has also backed the 24-year-old to come good, insisting he is “convinced” Antony has the potential to thrive at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag told AD: “I am still convinced that Antony has the potential to play at this club. He certainly showed that potential in the first month.
“He scored three times in his first three games. After that it became more difficult, last season was not good.”
Since he did not travel with the Brazil team to the Copa America, Antony has returned to Man United’s preseason training. However, he has missed the team’s friendlies against Rosenborg and Rangers.
Antony will compete with the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Amad Diallo for a starting berth on the right flank this season.
