(G)I-DLE‘s Soyeon is the definition of a proper idol. Not only is she an amazing performer and charismatic, but she’s one of the most copyrighted fourth-generation idols. So, it’s not surprising that she had everyone shook with the most money she’s earned in a month.
On July 10, Pixid posted a new video from Soyeon’s series and the special guest was Lee Young Ji.
During the video, Young Ji asked Soyeon how much she makes.
When trying to decide how to answer, Soyeon asked whether she takes her yearly earnings and divides it by 12, which Young Ji said only rich people do.
Soyeon then explained that Young Ji could also be rich, as both agreed that they had extreme highs and lows when it came to income.
Soyeon had to give an answer, and hilariously, the producers didn’t bleep it out. Young Ji was shocked when Soyeon revealed that the most she had received in one month was ₩1.00 billion KRW (about $ 723,000 USD).
Soyeon then explained that it wasn’t something that happened every month, and she’s even had times when she has only earned $ 100 for a month.
When the amount was revealed, netizens were shocked but not shocked. Soyeon is talented and is doing many ventures, but it still seems like a huge amount of money for any idol.
