The Larry O’Brien trophy is in the building for Game 5 of the NBA Finals at the TD Garden in Boston.
The Mavericks avoided being swept in Game 4, dismantling the Celtics by 38 points to extend the series another game. The loss ended Boston’s 10-game win streak and perfect road record in the 2024 NBA Playoffs but gave it a chance to win the title at home.
Dallas will try and take another step toward history in its pursuit of becoming the first team ever to pull off a 3-0 series comeback. The Celtics will look to get back to business on the parquet, where they haven’t lost a game since May 9.
Will Boston close out the series and win its NBA-leading 18th championship, or will the Mavericks keep their title hopes alive?
