Hard-hitting Gervonta Davis defends the WBA lightweight title against top contender Frank Martin in Las Vegas.
Davis has held super featherweight gold to go along with lightweight gold. “Tank” was dubbed “the face of boxing” after beating Ryan Garcia in his last fight in 2023. Ranked second in the WBA rankings, Martin, 29, is coming off an impressive win against Artem Harutyunyan, forcing the German fighter to take a knee last year. “The Ghost” has 12 wins via knockout.
The co-main event will feature David Benavidez vs. Oleksandr Gvozdyk for the interim WBC light heavyweight title. Benavidez is a former WBC super middleweight champion who moved in weight after realizing he wouldn’t get a Mexico vs. Mexico fight against Canelo Alvarez. Gvozdyk is a former NABF and WBC light heavyweight champion on a three-fight win streak.
Also on the card, Gary Antuanne Russell faces Alberto Puello for the interim WBC super lightweight title, while Carlos Adames defends the WBC middleweight title against Terrell Gausha.
