The story of expelled LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling is set to be aired in an FX television series on Hulu called “Clipped.”
“Clipped” will cover the dysfunctional era of the 2010s Clippers and their owner, Sterling, who was banned from the NBA for life in 2014 for making racist remarks captured on tape.
The six-part series is described as a “docudrama” based on ESPN’s 30 for 30 podcast “The Sterling Affairs.”
It will cast each key member of the story and the Clippers organization, headlined by Ed O’Neill (Sterling), Laurence Fishburne (head coach Doc Rivers), Cleopatra Coleman (V. Stiviano, Sterling’s ex-girlfriend) and J. Alphonse Nicholson (Chris Paul).
