Recently, ATEEZ‘s San appeared on the KODE YouTube channel with ZEROBASEONE‘s Kim Gyuvin as part of its “SELF-ON KODE” series.
These videos feature stars hiding their identities from the other stars and attempting to guess who they are talking to through chatting. This leads to some pretty hilarious and cute moments between the stars.
During one part of the video, the two idols are requested to send each other a screenshot of their home screens, with Gyuvin going first. San notices that Gyuvin has downloaded the Korean Air app and uses that as a hint about who he is.
In return, San sends Gyuvin his home screen, and Gyuvin first notices the moon-themed background and guesses that San is older.
However, one part of San’s home screen stood out to fans, leaving them in shock.
San’s messaging app showed that there were over 1,400 messages waiting to be read.
Many fans were surprised by the number, joking about San ignoring the messages being extremely relatable.

On the other hand, another reason for the surplus of messages could possibly be stalker or sasaeng fans messaging the idol. Fans commented on this, finding the situation less humorous than first thought.
need people to realize idols having 1k-50k unread messages on imessage is usually them not opening spam and messages from harrassers, not leaving people they know on seen, that’s what kakaotalk is for https://t.co/PVMWkvyHrU

Everyone joking about the number of messages but they’re probably all from stalkers and crazy fans cause their numbers get leaked all the time… https://t.co/Agt2jeNzfV
