The longest race in the NASCAR Cup Series is set to take place at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Memorial Day weekend. Coming off an exciting All-Star Race in which Joey Logano won the $ 1 million prize is the Coca-Cola 600, the series’ annual trip to the 1.5-mile oval in Concord, North Carolina.
Denny Hamlin and Chris Buescher rounded out the top three from the race at North Wilkesboro last weekend. The race was highlighted by a brawl between Kyle Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. following a collision on Lap 2.
Points leader Kyle Larson is the favorite to win the Coca-Cola 600, but he’s tied up with competing in Sunday afternoon’s Indy 500.
