On May 10, Zico shared a dance challenge with EXO‘s D.O. for “Spot!,” which excited many fans. Despite fans ‘ wishes, D.O. rarely appears in dance challenges, so this was initially very well received.
However, recent headlines about Zico have shifted public opinion on the artist.
With the release of the “Burning Sun” documentary, Zico’s comments about Jung Joon Young‘s “golden phone” resurfaced, leading to suspicion from netizens.

Shortly after, a post alleging Zico’s violent behavior towards an ex-girlfriend made rounds on online communities.
As a result, comments on this post turned negative, with many bringing up these issues.

For comparison, his post with D.O. has over 23 thousand comments, where as his previous post with BIGBANG’s Taeyang only has a little over 2,000.
