Recently, dating photos alleged to be of tripleS‘s Kim Yooyeon were shared online.
The 24-member girl group made its debut in 2023 and have seen a rise in popularity, even winning their first music show recently. Kim Yooyeon was among the first members to be introduced during the group’s pre-debut activities.
On May 21, an X account posted two photos alleging them to be Kim Yooyeon with a boyfriend before the group’s debut.

The first of the two photos show a person tagged with Kim Yooyeon’s old Instagram account username alongside a male whose face is covered in a hotel pool, while the second show the pair looking at each other with the woman’s arm looped through the man’s.
Photos of Kim Yooyeon wearing the same outfit as the woman in the photos were also shared as “evidence.”
Usually, dating photos, even pre-debut, have been met with negativity.
However, many netizens have defended the star, mentioning that before her debut she was technically just a member of the public.
