The Minnesota Vikings announced the numbers for both their rookie class and free agent signings shortly before rookie minicamp began. In doing so, that allowed the players to have their jerseys go on sale for the first time.
It’s a cool moment for those young men as their National Football League dream being realized has more tangible proof. Rookies get to choose their number, but it’s not always one that they want.
Cornerback Khyree Jackson isn’t a big fan of his number and made a reference to potentially changing it.
Course not it is what it is if I’m 31 let’s rock out if get to switch then so be it…
Ps: don’t buy my jersey too quick

It’s common for rookies who are mid-round picks and later to change their number after final cuts, as new numbers become available. Look for Jackson to find himself a new number at that time.
