The Denver Broncos may be facing more pressure than any team in the NFL when it comes to the 2024 NFL Draft. Having missed the playoffs in each of the last eight seasons, the Broncos must get this one right.
It’s agreed upon by nearly everyone within Broncos Country that the Broncos need to find the quarterback of the future in this draft. But how they go about that is the big question as the team could conceivably move up or down in the first round. There are good arguments for both of those avenues to be taken.
As it currently stands, the Broncos will have the No. 12 overall pick in the first round. The team was also able to add to its collection of picks by dealing Jerry Jeudy to the Cleveland Browns this offseason. draft picks 2024: When does New England pick next?

Broncos draft needs
Quarterback: There might not be a team in the NFL that needs a QB more than the Broncos. With Jarrett Stidham and Ben DiNucci as the only signal-callers currently on the roster, a premium pick needs to be used on one. Just about every quarterback in this class has been talked about in connection to Denver, so it will be interesting to see which direction the team goes in.
Defensive Line: The Broncos have surprisingly held onto D.J. Jones to this point despite being able to save nearly $ 10 million against the cap. The Broncos have signed Malcolm Roach and Angelo Blackson in free agency this offseason, but it is clear that the team needs to place more focus on this unit.
Edge Rusher: The Broncos could use another big name to get after the quarterback as Nik Bonitto, Jonathon Cooper and Baron Browning are all good players but none of them are game-changers. The Broncos need that Von Miller type that they once had.
