After a wild finish to the regular season that featured changes to the standings on a near daily basis, the 2024 NBA Playoffs have arrived.
The Celtics will be the team to beat in the Eastern Conference, as they cruised to the No. 1 overall seed with an impressive 64-18 record. The Knicks, Bucks, Cavaliers, Magic and Pacers already clinched first-round berths, while the 76ers, Heat, Bulls and Hawks will battle for the final two spots in the bracket.
In the Western Conference, the Thunder finished with the same 57-25 record as the Nuggets, but Oklahoma City earned the top seed via the head-to-head tiebreaker, dropping Denver to No. 2. The Timberwolves, Clippers, Mavericks and Suns can take a deep breath now that they are safely in the bracket, but the Pelicans, Lakers, Kings and Warriors still have work to do.

- Conference semifinals: May 6-7 (possible move up to May 4-5)
- Conference finals: May 21-22 (possible move up to May 19-20)

The 2024 NBA Play-In Tournament will begin on Tuesday, April 16. The first round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs will start four days later on Saturday, April 20.
The next two rounds of the postseason will be held in May, and Game 1 of the 2024 NBA Finals will be played on Thursday, June 6.
