Paris Saint-Germain take on Real Sociedad in the French capital for the first leg of their Round of 16 clash in the UEFA Champions League.
Sociedad topped Group D, which included Inter Milan, Benfica and RB Salzburg, while PSG could only finish runners-up to Borussia Dortmund in the ‘group of death’ that also included AC Milan and Newcastle United.
Luis Enrique is set to have Kylian Mbappe fit to play tonight despite a slight injury concern and will also see key players return to the starting XI as he rested many at the weekend.
For La Real, they will unfortunately be without their skipper Mikel Oyarzabal who is suffering from injury. Can Imanol Alguacil’s side spring the first major surprise of the 2023/24 knockout phase and claim an important first-leg victory?

30th minute: The game has entered a slight lull in the last ten minutes or so. PSG seem to have calmed Sociedad’s storm and are enjoying the majority of possession.
22nd minute: Are La Real going to rue these missed chances? Silva’s leap sees him meet the ball with his head excellently and Donnarumma was beaten if it was on target.
18th minute: Kubo gets the better of Beraldo and uses his trickery to find himself in a goalscoring opportunity but just drags his effort wide of the post.
15th minute: Mendez’s free-kick is deep to the far post and the cutback almost finds Silva but the Sociedad forward can’t quite make it.
8th minute: PSG are beginning to show their quality and Mbappe has been involved in all of the attacks so far, combining well with Dembele.
