The only two quarterbacks younger than Purdy to start in the Super Bowl are Dan Marino (23 years, 127 days old for Super Bowl 20) and Ben Roethlisberger (23 years, 340 days old for Super Bowl 40). Marino lost his Super Bowl appearance at age 23, but Roethlisberger won his.

The youngest quarterback to win the Super Bowl was Roethlisberger, who led the Steelers over the Seahawks in Super Bowl 40 back in 2006.
If Purdy can lead the 49ers over the Chiefs in Super Bowl 58, he will be the second-youngest QB in NFL history to win the big game.
