After winning the first-ever NBA In-Season Tournament, the Lakers hit the road for a three-game trip in Texas to face a few generational phenoms.
To open the trip, LeBron James dueled with Mavericks guard Luka Doncic, with Dallas coming out on top. One night later, James missed his first-ever opportunity to go against Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama, as the 38-year-old sat out due to a bothersome calf ailment on the second night of a back-to-back.
With a day in between games, the Lakers will face Wembanyama’s Spurs once more in San Antonio before heading back to Los Angeles. Will James suit up this time?
Here is what we know about the all-time scoring leader’s status for Friday’s game.
