How NBA In-Season Tournament MVP and All-Tournament Team are selected
The NBA revealed that a panel of media members will select the All-Tournament Team. It will be based on performance in both the Group Play and Knockout Rounds.
It’s not clear if that same panel of media members will select the competition’s MVP.
The In-Season Tournament MVP will receive a black and gold trophy that’s 15 inches tall. Each player who makes the All-Tournament team will receive a trophy in the form of a solid black crystal basketball with gold channels. Each basketball stands 7.5 inches high and weighs 20 pounds.
Additionally, the teams that made it to the Knockout Rounds earned prize money, with the championship team winning $ 500,000 per player.
