The Las Vegas Raiders made a much-needed addition to their wide receivers room on Monday, with the team reportedly signing former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Las Vegas is inking Gallup to a one-year deal worth up to $ 3 million. Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal notes the deal is pending a physical.
Here are some of the best reactions to the move.
The #Raiders came out of the draft still lacking proven WR depth. Gallup fixes that issue. He had 34 catches for 418 yards and 2 TDs last season. He’ll compete with Tre Tucker for a role as WR3. https://t.co/6BBGidnZgb

Really like this one. Only 27 years old, put up 418 yards and 2 TD off 34 receptions last year
3744 yards and 21 TD in his career. Compliments Adams, Meyers, Tucker well. Should rotate with Tucker for the 3rd WR spot https://t.co/pO6d27skWO

Good pick up by Tom Telesco and the Raiders #Raiders https://t.co/DvgPaqoUaZ

Michael Gallup was a solid No. 2/3 WR behind Amari Cooper and then the Cowboys drafted CeeDee Lamb.
Gallup battled a calf injury and tore his ACL during the 2021 season, lost his momentum and other pass-catchers emerged in the Cowboys offense.
Solid pickup for #Raiders though.…

Former Cowboys WR Michael Gallup agreed to a one-year contract with the Raiders, a person familiar with the deal said. It’s worth up to $ 3 million. Fresh start for him. He is healthy, more than two years removed from his ACL and MCL tears.
