There is an unlikely trio in K-Pop who actually went to the same high school.
SHINee‘s Taemin, WINNER‘s Mino, and Block B‘s P.O were classmates who graduated in 2011. Like most schools, they had their own yearbook to commemorate their stay in the school.
Each student was given a short space to write down a message of their choosing and the three K-Pop idols had vastly different ideas on what to write.
1. SHINee’s Taemin
First up, Taemin thanked everyone for supporting his group. He debuted in 2008 with the song “Replay” and was already a popular singer at the time of his graduation.
Thanks, everyone. Please love SHINee and I hope you guys can outdo me!
— Taemin
2. WINNER’s Mino
Mino, meanwhile, had not yet made his debut. He was still a normal high school student who had a relatively more down-to-earth response.
Even though I didn’t share as much time with you guys, to those who cheered me on and kept in touch, thank you. I love you. PEACE~
— Mino
3. BLOCK B’s P.O
Finally, P.O had a completely different take on his yearbook message. He went down the comedy route and randomly mentioned Mino’s farts, comparing them to a cat.
Song Minho’s fart smells like a cat claw’s smell.
— P.O
Mino and P.O are still best friends over a decade later. They often appear on variety shows together, showing off their close friendship.
